The Script- Why their music is important to me.

The Script- Why their music is important to me.

I fell in love with this Irish band back in 2010 and that was down to ‘For the First Time’ 6 years is a long time to like one band but my love for the guys and the music grows each day that goes by.

One Reason for loving them is every song by the guys tells a story, and that’s what I love. There isn’t a single one that lacks meaning or emotional impact. The melody and the lyrics that go along with each song are simply beautiful. People say each song is the same as the last, but if you truly engage with the lyrics and the story to each one then you cannot say that.

A lot of the songs for all 4 albums have helped me through really difficult times in my life and it may sound soppy or a bit cringe, but being able to relate to the lyrics in each song helped me feel a lot better. I think that’s what the beauty and magic of music is. When an artist or band is so passionate in what they are singing that they can transcend that passion and emotion to you.
And the guys themselves have helped a lot just by being there for they fans and caring about them.

The Script never fail to invoke feeling within me, whenever I’m sad I can listen to them knowing I’ll feel instantly better. Whenever I’m happy I know their music will increase my mood by tenfold. Whenever I’m lonely or nostalgic,

I can listen to them and be whisked back to 2013 when I see them live for the first time on the #3 tour, And the day I meet Danny and Mark back in 2012 on the hall of fame radio tour in Glasgow will forever been one of the best days for my life.

And I will always be grateful for all the people I have talked too and the friends I have made on twitter because for the guys and their music. I can wait to be able to see them live again and meet some of the friends I have made.

I really hope you have liked reading this blog post and I would love to know what you think about it.
hope you all have a great weekend.
love
A. xxx
